This durable, beautifully produced Micro Herb Tray is perfectly designed for use with the . It features plenty of holes in the base to allow for the upward absorption of water and nutrient solution from beneath – as is required with the Tray2Grow in ‘Capillary Matting’ configuration.
In ‘Capillary Matting’ configuration a large rectangular capillary mat (not incl.) is laid onto the Tray2Grow tray and tucked into the channels. A root control sheet (not incl.) is laid over the capillary mat.
Up to two Tray2Grow Micro Herb Trays can then be placed on top. The capillary mat draws up moisture and fertilizer from the tray. The moisture and fertilizer pass through the holes in the base of each Micro Herb Tray, into your growing media, and onwards to irrigate and feed your young plants.
